Quality interiors to complete your kiosk

 We have an outstanding range of interiors for your kiosk. We can personalise the dial centre to carry your current number but with the old exchange or with a memorable number from the past. (We use Whitehall 1212 for Scotland Yard). We can also add your kiosk location to the Emergency notice.

Jubilee Interior

The layout was used in kiosks from 1936 to the mid 50’s and consists of:

​

  • High gloss black laminated and ebonised two piece wallboard
     

  • Original polished stainless steel notice frames fitted by concealed brackets. This layout has two long notice frames, one short notice frame and a rectangular Emergency notice frame. It is completed with Dial Code / Instructions, an Emergency Services notice and two colour period notices
     

  • Polished stainless steel mirror frame with bevelled mirror
     

  • A pair of high gloss black laminated and ebonised parcel/directory shelves, complete with stainless steel trim and shelf liners. The original A&B coin box has been restored in black gloss. It comes complete with working pre decimal coin mechanism, bell set, locks and keys. It is fitted with a cast coin denomination plate (Penny, Sixpence, and Shilling)
     

  • Fully restored Series 200 black Bakelite telephone with plain base and original braided cord. Converted for immediate use

The A & B Box can be converted to take various coinages but it is not necessary to insert coins to make a call.

Updated Jubilee Interior

This interior was used from the mid- Fifties to the mid-Sixties and uses the same equipment as the earlier version with the exception of the top wallboard which has a different Notice Frame layout.

​

The small frame and mirror is replaced by a central long frame.

 

The Emergency notice is placed offset at the bottom right.

Pay on Answer Interior

This layout was used in kiosks from the mid-Sixties to the Eighties and consists of:

​

  • High gloss black two piece wallboard
     

  • Your choice of a Restored Grey or Black Series 700 Pay-On-Answer armoured Payphone
     

  • Polished stainless steel notice frames fitted by concealed brackets
     

  • Black and White Dial Code/Instruction Notice, Emergency Notice and colour period notices
     

  • Your choice of a Grey Swinging Directory Holder, or a Black and Grey parcel shelf
     

  • The telephone has been converted for immediate use

Renter’s Board

Renter’s boards were found in restaurants, hotels and pubs from the mid-Thirties onwards. They were often mounted on a hallway wall.

It consists of:

​

  • One piece black wallboard
     

  • Original A&B coin box with a cast denomination plate showing Penny, Sixpence and Shilling
     

  • Black gloss shelf fitted with fully working, restored original Series 200 Bakelite telephone
     

  • Polished stainless steel notice frames fixed with concealed brackets
     

  • Dial Codes/Instruction and Emergency notices
     

  • It is fitted with a working bellset, lock and keys.
    The telephone has been converted for immediate use.

Pay on answer Renter’s wallboard no.2

This layout as above but was used from the Sixties to the Eighties.

It consists of:

  • Grey one piece wallboard
     

  • Polished stainless steel notice frame with concealed fixing brackets
     

  • Emergency Notice
     

  • Restored operational series 700 grey plastic wall phone
     

  • 700 series coin collection box in grey enamel
     

  • Line feed converted for immediate use
